6/6/26 Marking 365 Days of Resistance & Care
amuletos de resistencia (charms of resistance) 2025
Soil gathered in places marked by care, masa, cacao, spring water, and copal limited edition of 100
These sculptures are cast from the negative space of my closed hand. A gesture shaped by protection and quiet resolve. Formed from soil gathered in places marked by care, mixed with masa, cacao, spring water, and sealed with copal, they become charms of resistance: small offerings that carry traces of land, memory, and the intimate ways communities protect one another.
